Google CS First: Sports
CS First is a free program that offers computer science projects for students aged 9-14 who sign up to be part of the club. In the sports project, students move through eight sports themed activities that develop computer science skills. Activities include animating a victory celebration, a sports commentary, making a ball game, a commercial, an extreme sports game and a post-game interview. Each activity is supported by a video and project starters which students use to remix and create their own stories. Lesson plans accompany the student activities.
